Difference between Work day and Calendar day

Dear all,
I found there's sonething confusing as taught to operate a system in the company,

We have a system to order parts online, it shows the order take three calendar days to complete,

But the teacher said that the 'calendar day' is the vender's working day,

What I understand as follows:

Work day = business day
Calendar day = any day

BUT! I'm confused in this case... why calendar day becomes working day here?

Well, my view is that, calendar days are the days we live on.  Working days or business days are those days,normally not counting the weekends.   

Of course, some business do work 7 days a week.

I think you are right.  Working day generally excludes weekend, the calendar day is anyday on the calendar.

also workday = working day = business day

I think it means the days show on the calendar, which means everyday.
It also confused me sometimes but my foreign colleague told me this way.
