I met a friend (he is originally from Korea) here in Australia who only knows basic English at the start. Eventually, he is able to communicate with foreigners and got confident to speak with them. Many Korean, Japanese and even Taiwanese are the same.
The most important thing is hang out with friends who are not speak the same language as you. The more time you spend time with them, the better your English would be. You have more opportunities to learn, practice and speak English. So it all depends how work hard you would be. ... |
